About- RPF SI and Constable Recruitment 2024
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has released the Procedure for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (Exe.) and Constables (Exe.) in RPF/RPSF.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 28 of RPF Rules 1987 read with section 8 of the RPF Act 1957, in supersession of concerned provisions contained in RPF Directive-43, the undersigned hereby issues the following Directive on the subject of recruitment in RPF/RPSF.

Sub Inspector (Exe.):
Candidates should have passed Graduation (Bachelor Degree) from a recognized University or Institute.
Constable (Exe.):
Candidates should have passed 10th (Matric) or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
Salary/ Pay Level:
RPF Sub Inspector: Pay Level- 6 (Starting Salary: Rs. 35,400/-)
RPF Constable: Pay Level- 3 (Starting Salary: Rs. 21,700/-)
